We’re delighted to announce a new monthly social ebook competition for members of iWriteReadRate. It has a fantastic prize from a leading UK literary consultancy.
We’ve teamed up with Cornerstones Literary Consultancy to bring our members a new social ebook competition, with monthly draws for the prize.
To provide the maximum attention for our writers for this competition we’ve launched a new micro-site – VoteForMyeBook.com – which is the hub for this competition and links directly to our main site and your Writer Profile. We’ve made the competition social so that you can use it as part of your platform building activities.
What’s the prize?
It is a fantastic Cornerstones masterclass mini-critique on the winning writer’s first pages of their story, up to 2000 words. This is designed to give the writer a professional critique on how to improve the opening as well as hints to consider throughout their writing. We’ll also invite the winners to contribute an iWRR blog article about how it has helped them and what they have learned – so they can share the tips with the wider community.
What do I need to do?
Simply upload an ebook to iWriteReadRate. Every month we’ll select five to take part in the competition – ideally three will be new and two previously uploaded. All the writer needs to do is promote it with their networks and aim to get as many votes for their ebook as possible. When you’re selected we’ll email you at the start of the month.
At the end of each month the ebook with the most votes wins the prize. It’s that easy!
The first five ebooks competing for the August 2012 prize are live now. Check out if your ebook made the August list:
